DoItYourself Projects have been the talk of the town. With creative inspiration from refinery29's amazing how-to section and blogs like my favourite, A Beautiful Mess how could you possibly turn down the idea of experimenting too?
From ty dye shorts to handmade jewellery, let's face it, DIY projects are spreading like wildfire. Etsy is just one fine example of a network of creative entrepreneurs who likely started out with a single do it yourself project too.
My first DIY Project of the year involved snipping up and resewing the sleeves of a denim vest from the 80's I dug out of my mom's closet. I then bought bronze studs from a nearby shop (which can easily be found online) and bedazzled my vest. Results can be seen here.
